Anton Ponomarev - musician from Moscow (Russia), plays woodwind instruments (saxophone, clarinet).

Works on the field of free improvised music, experimental and punk jazz! Apart from different collaborations with musicians all over the world (Toshinori Kondo, Balazs Pandi, Paal Nilssen-Love, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Burton Greene, Peter Ole Jorgensen, Kazutoki Umezu, Sainkho Namtchylak, David Dove, Raoul van der Weide, Arrington de Dyoniso, Marco Papiro, Christian Muller and many others) his core bands are BROM, Speedball trio, Sanscreed kanon, Ponomarev/Obrazeena Massacre, and Solvychegodsk. Anton collaborates with Arkady Kots band a lot too.  

In the Partizan Jam Anton’s significant input is to give a piercing ferocious free jazz \ punk improvisation in the outro of Zog Nit Kein Mol and in the Kotrataka (counterattack) an experimental recital piece composed together with Elina Lebedze – a Petersburg-based minimalist composer.
